HP Behind the Scenes Blog

Do you love fashion and discovering the latest trends?! Look no further…We have teamed up with the tech gurus from HP to show you how our fashion edits come together from start to finish using the latest HP devices. Each member of our team use HP devices on shoots so why not check out their thoughts and see if the devices can make your life a little easier? To make the sneak peek even more exciting, HP are giving away the Stream x360 based on the recommendation from the stylist on the shoot – perfect for those busy days with the kids!  Simply tell us when you have been caught red handed taking a sneak peek!

Becky Shellman was the stylist on shoot, using the Stream x360. She always uses this device when on shoot because it is so portable and lightweight, but don’t use take our word for it ‘When on set I often refer to the moodbaords I have created for the shoot. That is why I love the X360 because I can constantly review the inspiration wherever I go! It is so portable it becomes my fashion accessory.’ So maybe you are not working on a photoshoot, but you are looking for a device to make your life a little easier right? Well now you have found it. This laptop is small enough to pop in your handbag and take wherever you need it, on the train, work, for the kids, it is a powerful yet a handy device! It has the style and subsistence for your busy life.

But it wasn’t just Becky loving her tech, Hannah, the gorgeous model on shoot is addicted to her Pavilion x360. Why? Well we asked her the same question.. ‘I love how this laptop is so flexible! When I am tired from a shoot, I can change the mode of the laptop so it sits upright and watch films on the sofa. It is great when I am travelling as I can Skype my boyfriend and family so they don’t forget who I am!  It also has a really long battery life, so I don’t have to worry about charging it all the time.’ Family is super important to Hannah, which is why we know this device is perfect for you. With a range of modes, it is great for the kids. They can be watching on film on the sofa one minute, they switch it to a tablet to play their favourite games. It is not only great for the kids, but the whole family. It has a great battery life, so that you can work from it all day and relax with it in the evening, the perfect companion.

Our photographer and stylist are also lovers of HP devices. Ben, the photographer cannot get enough of the HP Spectre and we have to agree, it is a stunner! The hair and make-up artist, Shell, loves her HP Envy 17 for the true screen quality. Don’t just take our word for it, meet the full team at the HP Store and see what they had to say.

Don’t forget, for your chance to win the HP Stream x360, simply tell us when you have been caught red handed trying to take sneaky peek of something…! Good luck!

One year, my mother caught us red handed and made us give away the Christmas present that we had found (it was a set of make-up brushes). We were so disappointed and never went looking again.

I got caught trying to peek at Christmas presents when I was younger. My dad, sister and I would always wait for my mum to do her first Christmas food shop and then go searching. All was set… My sister would be lookout, my dad would check the loft and I would check my parents bedroom. Except my sister decided to go out to play and my mum then came home because she’d left some vouchers in the kitchen. I was busted in my parents room going through the wardrobe!
Didn’t drop my dad in it though!!
