Easter Holidays: Staying In or Playing Out

Easter Holidays: Staying In or Playing Out

Who knows what the weather will decide to do over the Easter holidays. One thing’s for sure, we plan on doing lots of fun things with the family, whether there’s blissful sunshine or a downpour!

Should the weather be delightful – fingers crossed – then how about a bike ride? We’ve got bikes for all ages, abilities and uses. The Whistle Creek 1484 700C 56.5 cm Frame Mens Road Bike is great for dads or grown-up lads – it’s lightweight and is a dream to ride. We’ve also got the Whistle Tulakai 1465B 17 inch Frame 29er Alloy Ladies Mountain Bike, which is great for tackling trickier terrains. Our Concept Daredevil 16 inch Boys Bike is suitable for young boys aged 5+ and there’s also the Falcon Diamond 20 inch Full Suspension Girls Bike.

If you want to spend time in the outdoors but fancy something a little easier, you could always enjoy a family picnic. Everyone loves bonding over food and hopefully you can catch some rays at the same time. We’ve got the Yellowstone 4-Person Wicker Picnic Basket and Yellowstone Luxury Picnic Blanket to set you on your way.

Plan on staying in? How about a spot of baking? We’ve got kits to make things simple, such as the Mason Cash Baking Made Easy Cookie Making Set and Mason Cash Baking Made Easy Cake Making Set. Both produce fantastic (not to mention yummy) results. And it’s a great activity to get the kids involved in, from mixing the batter to licking the bowl, seeing them cook in the oven and, finally, gobbling everything up. You could even add Easter accessories to your bakes!

Alternatively, enjoy a cosy night on the sofa with blankets, popcorn and a family film. Peppa Pig Peppa Pig Triple Pack DVD is great for young’uns, as is Despicable Me Despicable Me 1 and 2 DVD Boxset of course. If your kids are a bit older, try Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie 2014 – Blu-ray. Or there’s the Inbetweeners 2 DVD if you’ve got school leavers – it’s hilarious and cringe-tastic.

Get it at Littlewoods
