For a great night’s sleep, I like to make sure the room is warm and toasty, drink a bit of hot chocolate and then play something in the background to help me fade away. e.g. a favourite tv show etc…

A warm shower, warm milk before the bed.

My top tip – No TV in the bedroom! We haven’t had a tv in our room for a few years now, it’s so much more relaxing!

  11. Posted by Sarah Skinner on January 21, 2015

My tips are complete darkness if possible with no lights from electricals, a mild room temperature, and the bed to yourself…unless you’ve got a fantastic well sprung bed & mattress to minimise disruption from energetic sleepers!

  12. Posted by Karen S on January 21, 2015

A good bed, fresh bed linen and a tidy, decluttered bedroom with no electricals

My secret for a great night’s sleep is that I always cover the face of the bedside clock with a notepad so that I can’t see the time. Then, if I waken and can’t get back to sleep, I won’t fret about what time it is and how close to the alarm time it might be.

  14. Posted by Alan Youngman on January 21, 2015

I try to be as active as possible during the day then when I go to bed in the evening I have no problems getting off to sleep.

A bit of reading a coolish shower some relaxation tekniques and most of all have a bed that is comfortable with good support like the Silentnight micro pocket mia 1000 ortho divan bed “just magic “

  18. Posted by Alison Shinn on January 21, 2015

My top tip is to keep lighting levels low in the hour before bed and to make sure your bedroom is as dark as possible and that your bed is from Silentnight.

  19. Posted by Diana Webb on January 21, 2015

I get warm & cosy. Puff up pillows, and have hot water bottle to get feet warm. Set tv to turn off after half & hour. Soon as my feet get warm i’m asleep till morning.

I would definitely have sweet dreams in this!
