With an abundance of bank holidays and May half-term happening in very close succession, it’s a fantastic opportunity for some family time. But it’s difficult to keep the kids entertained for every waking moment unless you’re prepared. Here at Littlewoods, we’ve got a selection of toys to suit different children – no matter their age or toy preference, we’ll have something for them.
Hopefully this half-term will bring plenty of sunshine, so it’s best to enjoy activities outside – plus, all that fresh air will mean they get to sleep just fine! We’ve got loads of outdoor games including Garden Tennis – the swing ball set is easy to set up and comes with two plastic racquets ready for play to commence. There’s also the 45cm Hopper – 1C Printing, which is a great outdoor pastime. If you’re feeling really optimistic, you’ll be enamoured with our Fast Set Pool – it’s one of the best-selling in the UK because you can set it up, have a paddle and pack it away, all in the space of a few hours. Marvellous!
We’ve also got an abundance of toys to be played with inside on a rainy day, though they could still be adored outside too of course. For little girls, there’s the Sparkle Girlz Fairy – 1 (allow them to collect the entire set!) and The Smurfs Colour Me Smurfette, which allows your daughter to decorate Smurfette’s dress in her very own style – simply wash it when your little one gets bored and she can create a new design the next day!
Other fun indoor games include Aqua Beads Mega Bead Set – it’s perfect for independent play and there’s no ironing required because your child can simply spray their design with water to create an instant work of art! For something more boyish, there’s the Playmobil Police Truck with Speedboat – the speedboat actually floats on water, making this set all the more impressive.
Keep multiple kids happy with a board game like the Jumping Monkeys Game – they’ll go bananas for this hilarious game, where you aim to be the first player to flick your monkeys into the tree and try to knock your opponent off at the same time.
What fun activities do you have planned for half-term?
