The Perfect Christmas Party Hairdos

The Perfect Christmas Party Hairdos

You’ve got your gladrags on, your platform heels are by the front door and you’re just stuffing everything you possibly can into your miniature clutch: it’s party time. Everything’s in place but there’s just one thing letting you down. No one likes lifeless, limp, looks-like-it’s-plastered-to-your-skull hair but, unfortunately, most of us weren’t blessed with naturally voluminous hair. It’s pretty lucky that we know just the products to sort you out…

Whether you’re after flouncy curls or standard in-your-face volume, there’s something for everyone. It all starts, however, with a decent hairdryer. The TRESemme 5543GU Dryer Set is an absolute winner. The hairdryer itself is a 2200w ionic dryer with three heat and speed settings as well as a cool button, but it also comes with a styling brush, two sectioning clips and a 75ml shine glossing spray with Argan oil all in a spacious embossed patent cosmetic pouch. Not bad, ay? The best advice when it comes to blow-drying is to take your time. Don’t merely see it as a way to turn your tresses from wet to dry; spend time using the styling brush and adding volume at the roots.

Then you’ve got a great range of products to choose from depending on your desired result. Let’s start with something that everyone can benefit from: the BaByliss 3035BU Thermo Ceramic Rollers. These rollers come in three different sizes ensuring you a vastly curly ‘do or, if you prefer, you can just use some at the roots to create desirable volume. There’s also the Lee Stafford New Wave Machine – Triple Waver which produces three different results of either loose crimped hair, small waves or deep waves.

Other top of the range products include the Remington S8590 Keratin Therapy Straighteners (if you want sleek and simple locks) and the Enrapture Encode Totem Styler Curling Tongs, which everyone is going totally crazy for – the unique totem barrel has independent heat zones that set to different temperatures using the encoder dial, meaning the type of curl you end up with is all your decision.

As well as ensuring you have a top ‘do for any night out, these products are also ideal Christmas presents. And what’s better is, so many of them are on offer at the moment!

I can’t live without my straightners. Having previously lost all my hair through alopecia, my hair takes a life of it’s own. Luckily my straightners work miracles.
