If you were following us on Twitter on Monday night you would of heard us talking about all fabulous fashion that came down the Pride of Britain red carpet. It was all sharp suits from the guys and glamorous dresses from the girls, with lots of sparkle, killer heels and figure flaunting styles.
So ahead of the screening of the awards on ITV1 at 8pm tonight we thought we’d share some of our favourite looks with you! First up is the nation’s sweetheart Cheryl Cole, showing off her fantastic petite figure in a figure skimming Victoria Beckham dress. It’s understated elegance, with a simple cut and a glamorous train effect at the bottom. The dusky pink shade really suits Cheryl’s skin tone and she’s accessorised perfectly with a small clutch and some seriously sparkling earrings!
We were impressed by the amount of well dressed couples we saw on the red carpet, and this pic of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and stunning wife Jackie sums it up nicely. Wearing a sharp suit in classic black and white we love how Laurence kept it low key for the occasion – something we saw a lot of celebrities do for Monday’s awards, which are all about remarkable people and their truly inspiring stories. Jackie was glam in black, the most popular colour of the night, wearing a dress which makes the most of Jackie’s gorgeous curves and adds a nice touch of drama with the ruffles and graphic print clutch bag.
Holly Willoughby was another beauty in black, wearing this embellished dress from her own collection! She glammed it up with some sparkly heels and red nails (matching the soles of her shoes, we like your attention to detail Ms Willoughby!)
X Factor star Tulisa kept it short and sweet in a Vivienne Westwood print dress, which showed off her fabulous pins and teeny waist. The full underskirt added a bit of extra volume and the nude and cream shades really complimented Tulisa’s skin tone. It’s fun, young and fresh – Tulisa, you’ve got our vote!
Another TV personality who knows they can pull of a nude shade like no-one else, is Daybreak presenter Christine Bleakley, who wore this sexy little Herve Leger body con dress to flaunt her toned (and bronzed) figure. We love the metallic sheen of the dress and how she’s kept the accessories to a minimum so all eyes are on the dress. If we had her figure that’s how we’d do it too!
Our final pick (and we could literally go on all night) is this sparkling look from Tess Daly. The black and electric blue mini dress added a much needed splash of colour to the red carpet and showed of Tess’s lovely long legs to the max.
We wish we had more space to show you all the fabulous looks we saw gliding down the red carpet, but you’ll just have to watch the show tonight at 8pm on ITV1 to catch a glimpse of your favourite stars putting their best foot forward to honour the Pride of Britain.
