We Love Your Curves

Anyone who’s admired the style of Beyonce, J-Lo, Kim Kardashian or Kelly Brook will probably notice that these successful ladies have something in common. They aren’t the skinny model type but they still manage to look fabulous; embracing their curves rather than trying to hide them.

Considering that the average UK dress size is a size 16, it’s a little bit crazy that plus size clothing isn’t more readily available. Luckily, more and more brands are now offering ranges of super stylish clothing for curvy ladies who want more options for wearing the latest trends.

Our case in point? Our brand new dedicated Love Your Curves section – we love your curves and we want you to love them too. Here’s a quick lowdown on the best trends for Spring/Summer 2011 – and, best of all, most items are available up to a size 32.

Disco Glam: You’d need to be blind to have missed the 70s revival that’s going on at the moment – it’s everywhere. Bring some disco fever to your wardrobe with some key pieces. Here are a couple of our favourites:

Turn up the heat with this gorgeous cobalt blue slinky tunic dress – it’s the perfect piece for summer partying, just add some glitz with this cute sequinned clutch bag and a fabulous pair of metallic heels and you’re ready to hit the dancefloor.

Floral Essence: Floral print is always a good option for the summer months, and if you want to brighten up your wardrobe with some pretty pastels or bright and bold prints then this is the way to go.

Maxi skirts are the hottest trend of the season. Get some flower power with this pretty maxi skirt from So Fabulous which is perfect for going from day to night!

When the weather warms up and you want something light, flirty and girly opt for a pretty summer dress. We love this duck egg coloured sundress from So Fabulous! for a fun daytime look.  Complement either style with some pretty pink mules from Scholl.

Tribal nights: The perfect trend for dressing up on holiday, or even at home for a night out, the tribal look is all about prints and chic embellishment.

This printed bustier top from So Fabulous! is also available as a kaftan, so whether you feel like showing some flesh, or covering up and keeping cool, this print has the tribal trend down to a T. Wear eaither top with some stylish drapey cargos or some straight legs jeans and pair with killer heels or some glam gladiator flats for a more relaxed look.
