Must have gadgets from

We all have things that we want and things that we can’t live without and while some might argue that gadgets aren’t strictly necessary I beg to disagree as there are so many things that make life easier and these top gadgets will definitely do that.

Android Phones

The new Android operating system for mobile phones is pretty much the hottest thing in the mobile world since Apple launched the iPhone. If you want to get your hands on one of the latest mobile phones with the newest Android upgrade then try the eagerly awaited HTC Desire which runs on Android 2.1.

Bluetooth headsets

Yes, they’ve been around for years but don’t let this detract from the fact that they’re one of the best gadgets to come out of the last few years. No more having to pull over to answer a call, you can pick up whilst driving but still have your hands free to drive, particularly helpful if you happen to be lost at the time. This Samsung one is lovely and shiny, simple but gets the job done.

iPod Touch

iPods and MP3 players alike have revolutionised the music market in recent years, gone are the dead technology of CD players and now you can have masses of music at your fingertips wherever you are. The new iPod touch is the granddaddy of iPods and not only gives you access to loads of music on the go but means you can also download and watch films and TV series’ and you can surf the web and check your emails too.

Speaking of iPods, sometimes you need bigger speakers to play your music on and I just have to put this in the list due to its pure novelty value. The iPig iPod docking station lets you enjoy superior sound quality when playing your music in your own home; the docking station will also recharge your iPod so you don’t have to be music free whilst it charges.

You cannot deny that this one can be an absolute lifesaver. I cannot count the number of times I have pulled out my trusty TomTom to get me to my destination after driving around completely lost for a good 10 minutes. There are quite a few satnav companies out there and they will all get the job done but TomTom is a name pretty much synonymous with satellite navigation systems and this TomTom One V5 also has advanced lane guidance and handy ‘help me’ function to get you out of a tight spot.

Xbox 360 Elite

For all you online gamers out there the Xbox 360 Elite pretty much has everything covered. There’s an impressive 120GB of memory and lets you play your favourite games as well as download them from Xbox Live. The controllers are wireless and the console is compatible with HDTV so you can get a truly spectacular gaming experience. This is one for the hardcore gamers!

So if you’re a bit of a gadget fan and want to see what’s on offer then check out the Electronics section here at and make sure you have everything you need.

The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my
iPad and tested to see if it can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.

My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!

The rate of return against cost rises to 70% if the homeowner
does the job herself, although the work often requires a level of expertise that is beyond the ability of most do-it-yourselfers.
