How to Keep Kids Entertained This Half Term

Half term is fast approaching, so we’ve decided to come up with a number of ways to keep your little ones entertained in their week off. Whether they’re active munchkins or quite happy sitting on the living room floor with their favourite book, we’ve got it covered. Take a look at our favourite picks for October half term…

Half term gadgets for the kids
The LeapFrog LeapPad2 Explorer – Green and LeapFrog LeapPad2 Explorer – Pink are a must-buy for any child. These incredible tablets, suitable for ages 3 to 9, inspire kids to imagine and explore with their front-and-back cameras, 4GB of memory and a library of over 200 apps for limitless learning and fun. Allow them to read, play games, draw, make films and cover a variety of subjects such as art, music, language and culture, science, geography, mathematics and health. This device even adjusts the learning to suit your child’s development – a great buy, no?

Our LEGO range is definitely one to beat, and it’s an activity every little one adores. For young ladies, we’ve got the LEGO Friends City Park Cafe, which sees Andrea and Marie serving food in their amazing cafe. Alternatively, there’s the LEGO City Coast Guard Patrol 60014 which little lads are sure to love.

They’ll just love the Glow Crazy Doodle Dome too. Invite their friends round and this will keep them occupied for hours – they can doodle away with the lightwand, which later fade away so they can keep playing on and on. It’s perfect for noughts and crosses! For more fun and games, the Monster University Walkie Talkies will ensure your kids smile all day long.

If you want your children to get some fresh air, how about an autumn bike ride with the whole family? We’ve got designs like the Zombie Thrash 20 inch BMX Bike and the Concept Chillout 20 inch Girls Bike, which are both ideal for a great day out. Make sure they’re warm in plenty of layers, and take to the countryside with adventure in mind. You could even stop off for a lovely lunch somewhere.
