Family days out and competition winner!

Sometimes we all wish we could go back to our childhood. Birthdays, Christmases and days out with the family create some of our fondest memories as adults and we want to recreate these memories with our children. Luckily you don’t have to travel far in the UK to find something new and exciting for the family to do, and your choice of attraction can easily be decided by asking one simple question… what type of family are you?

The Animal Lovers-

If your little monkeys like nothing more than to peer at the pandas or look at the llamas, then Chester Zoo is the place for you. With over 11,000 animals including Tigers, Elephants and even Komodo Dragons, there’s bound to be something your kids have never seen before. The monorail and water bus will make getting around super easy so you can pack even more into your day!

Edinburgh castleThe Historians-

For a family who love to look back in time at centuries gone by, Edinburgh Castle is the perfect day out. Discover the castle and its secrets with cannons, a prison and great views of the city of Edinburgh. It’s a day that will stay with the family forever.

The Thrill Seekers-

Are you a family of adrenaline junkies? If so then you absolutely have to pay a visit to Alton Towers, whether you make a day or a weekend out of it you will never get bored. They have rides and attractions for all ages so fun can be had by tots and teens alike! The Theme Park has some of the biggest rollercoasters in the UK and is famous for its spooky Halloween events, so for the kids that love toe tingling experiences then this is the one for you!

The BIG City AdventurersLondon

If you want to explore a big city then there is no better place than London. With so many attractions it can be difficult to know where to start but heading straight to The London Eye will give you the best view of the city. Why not let the kids try and spot some of the city’s famous landmarks, by the time you get off the wheel you’ll really feel like you’ve seen London.

The Bookworms-

If asked about your favourite books as a child then everyone’s lists must include a few Beatrix Potter classics. Be transported into the world of Peter Rabbit and friends by visiting Beatrix Potter world, a land packed with activities for your children including a Peter Rabbit picnic and activity book. This attraction is well suited for young families and is a magical experience that will never be forgotten.

We are delighted to announce the winner of our Summer Holidays competition, to win a Merlin pass for you and the family.
