My laptop is like my partner – old, slow, makes a lot of noise but doesn’t do much, doesn’t work quickly and spends its time laying around the living room!

  25. Posted by Helen on June 5, 2013

I’m just not strong enough to lug around my desktop and a generator to power it!!

  26. Posted by sarah louise gray on June 5, 2013

  32. Posted by Jo Smith on June 5, 2013

My laptop is years old, and sooo slow, so I certainly could do with a fantastic new one!

  33. Posted by emma dunn on June 5, 2013

I need to let my laptop go, because there is only so much you can do to keep a laptop going.. the fact that i have to plug in a usb keyboard and the HDMI cable to connect it to the tv whenever i need to use it, should say enough is enough.. Simple fact is I cant afford a new one.
Would be amazing to win this, and im sure my neck would like it alot more, because i wont need to strain it looking at the tv then the plug in keyboard!
Very much need this little beauty!

  34. Posted by Diana Webb on June 5, 2013

My battery is gone so have to use my laptop plugged in

  35. Posted by shpetim on June 5, 2013

    Wanted desperately.

  36. Posted by Keeley Shaw on June 5, 2013

That its so ancient, it could have a place in a museum! Also produces enough heat to warm the room up in winter, you have to turn the tv up to hear over the noise of the fan, and its so slow you could cook a 3 course meal in the time it takes to load anything up. Sadly its time to let it go!

  37. Posted by Amanda Sykes on June 5, 2013

The fact that I managed to suck 3 of the keys into the hoover!

  41. Posted by Craig Warner on June 5, 2013

My laptop is 5 years old, sounds like it is going to take off and the base is now missing a few screws as a result of wear and tear. It needs to go! (after it’s won this competition of course…)

If I’m lucky enough to win, mine will be refurbished and sent out to a poor Philippines family, living about 2 hours out of Manila, who I try to support in any way I can. This would be a great additional way.

  48. Posted by Diane Wood on June 5, 2013
