London Fashion Weekend was a huge success at the end of February and it’s got us all kinds of excited for spring/summer 2013 fashion. The big guns showed us their summery designs back in September but this event is full of brands and events to get us thinking about the upcoming sunshine-filled months. Take a look at what we think you guys should be wearing…
On your upper half you can’t go wrong with a checked shirt. Previously linked with formal attire only, it’s become custom to wear one in every day life for an oh-so-stylish look. We love the Goodsouls Mens Long Sleeve Check Shirt for its overarching colour scheme of clay red, navy and white. Knitwear can come in handy too; either for springtime or a summer evening. The 883 Police Crew Neck Mens Jumper boasts a trendy contrasting pocket and flattering neckline. It’ll be time to ditch the coat but when layering is needed, how about the Joe Browns Mens Cord Jacket too? This wonder is seriously cool with its shearling collar.
For your bottom half it has to be a pair of chinos or classic jeans. The Superdry Core Cargo Mens Shorts are a great option. Not only do they look awesome on, but these chino shorts have a worn look that gives instant style points. Levi’s are actually showing at London Fashion Weekend so it’d be rude not to invest in a pair of their wonderful jeans – we love the Levi’s 508 Mens Tapered Jeans, which come in three different colour options.
If you really want to look good this summer then it’s really all about the finishing touches. Desert boots are one of the best footwear choices you can make this year and the Ugg Australia Mens Cantrell Nubuck Chukka Boots tick all the right boxes. They feature a two-tone element, white stitching and trendy raffia detailing as well. If you follow men’s street style then you’ll know that a rucksack is the epitome of style. Opt for the adidas Originals Camo Backpack; a sand-coloured design that mixes fashion with practicality. Last but not least, put on a pair of Ray-Ban Cat Mens Sunglasses and you’ll be good to go.
