Rock up in Red

Rock up in Red

Happy February! It’s National Heart Month and here at Littlewoods we know how important it is to raise funds and awareness for heart disease; the UK’s biggest killer. The 1st February was ‘Rock Up In Red’ day so we hope you were wearing head-to-toe red in honour of the British Heart Foundation and all it represents. We thought we’d take a look at some of our favourite red Littlewoods items to get in on the action for the rest of the month…

Think Red | Rock Up In Red Day For National Heart Month

In fashion terms, we’ve got red-tastic pieces for both women and men. From elegant dresses like the South Flippy Hem Ponteroma Fitted Dress to fashion-forward studded ankle boots (we adore the Love Label Delaney Stud Ankle Boots) there’s something red out there for every femme fatale. Chinos are seriously stylish on the men’s front – the Superdry Commodity Straight Mens Chinos come in two great shades of red. You can’t go wrong with a pair of sturdy boots either – the Dr Martens 3 Eyelet Mens Shoes – Cherry are too good for words.

If red is lacking in your wardrobes ladies, then there’s always make-up to consider too. How about a splash of bright red lipstick? The Barry M Lip Paint – Pillar Box Red is out-of-this-world. Or get your nail polishes out and give yourself classic red talons – the OPI Danke – Shiny Red is a great option.

Maybe you’ve got some red homeware pieces? Use red towels like the 6-Piece Plain Dyed Towel Bale (these are currently ‘buy one get one half price’!) or switch on a red light like the Ingrid Faux Suede 3-ball Floor Lamp. Use your best pots and pans. The Swan Carbon 5-piece Pan Set looks super slick in red.

Whether it’s today or during the rest of the month… think red, wear red. Donate to the British Heart Foundation TODAY.
