WIN a Motorola Xoom 2 plus a 2 years service guarantee worth £518!

WIN a Motorola Xoom 2 plus a 2 years service guarantee worth £518!

This competition has now closed! Thanks for your entries and congratulations to our winner Laura, the Motorola Xoom 2 and service guarantee are yours!

We have one amazing prize to give away this week on LW Blog, even if we do say so ourselves! We all know that the must-have gadget these days is either a fab smartphone or a tablet PC, so you can work, play and connect on the go. And while we’ve given away quite a few smartphones over the past few months we thought it was about time we added a tablet PC to the list, which we’ve done in style with a little (but all important) added bonus.

Win this Motorola Xoom 2 plus a 2 year service guarantee!

So this week, one lucky LW Blog reader will win a fabulous Motorola Xoom 2 Tablet PC as well as 2 years Service Guarantee! So if your shiny new tablet goes on the blink, we’ll repair or replace it fast.

The large 10.1” touch screen display has a 1280 x 800 resolution so you can watch, play, surf the web and take pictures in beautifully clear detail with vivid colours – apparently the resolution is better than the iPad2, not that it’s a competition or anything…

The pre-installed Quickoffice® HD allows you to edit a range of work documents while MotoCast™ enables you to enjoy any media from your PC or Mac, and to further customise your tablet to suit your lifestyle, just take your pick from thousands of apps in the Android Marketplace. In fact, if the technical details are your thing, there are so many features packed in to this sharp, sleek shell that it’s probably easier to give you a quick summary:

  • 10.1″ HD gorilla glass touch screen (1280 x 800)
  • 1GB RAM and 16GB storage
  • 1.2GHz dual core processor
  • Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS
  • 5Mp rear camera with flash, 1.3Mp webcam and 1080p video capture
  • Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR)
  • HDMI output
  • Weight: 599 g and Dimensions: 254 x 173.6 x 8.8 mm

So we’re all agreed, the Motorola Xoom 2 tablet is amazing. Plus with the 2 year Service Guarantee we’ll repair or replace it if it breaks down, so you won’t have to be without your new toy/lifeline for too long! If this sounds like your kind of prize, worth a total of £518, just leave a comment below telling us about a time when the free Service Guarantee would come in handy in the past? Maybe you’d just set off on a long family trip and the kid’s laptop wouldn’t switch on? Or you planned a night in with your mates and the games console froze on you and your night in? Or did you wash your favourite jeans and the washing machine door stuck shut?…

Here’s some more competition info, so have a read and get commenting!

  • The competition will close on Sunday 26th August at midnight, so any comments entered after that won’t be included in the draw.
  • All comments will need to be approved, so don’t worry if your comment doesn’t appear straight away!
  • Use the form below to leave your comment and one winner will be drawn at random from all approved entries and contacted via email.
  • Now just leave a comment telling us about a time when free Service Guarantee would have come in handy in the past?

My, fairly new, satnav got dropped mysteriously on the floor, it was obviously nothing to do with my small (at the time) son who was the only one near it at the time. The screen was broken and obviously wouldn’t help us make the unfamiliar long trip home. If only we would have had the Littlewoods’ 2 years service guarantee we wouldn’t have had to fork out for another brand new one.
