The Jubilee weekend is nearly here it’s going to be a big weekend of celebration as the Queen marks her Diamond Jubilee, not to mention a double Bank Holiday which gives us a super exciting extra long weekend to look forward to!

If you plan on filling your weekend with days out and celebrating everything British, we have just the list for you – yes it’s our top Best of British Days Out! All selected from our brilliant Virgin Experiences range, if you ever needed some inspiration for a day out this Bank Holiday, this is where to find it!

From a hot air balloon ride over the beautiful British countryside, to a sightseeing bus tour and cruise around our fabulous capital city, these days out really are a fabulous way of experiencing Britain at it’s best. And whether it’s a family affair, maybe with an animal encounter at Flamingo Land theme park and zoo, or something to relax and enjoy some peace (a spa break has to be top of our wish list) it will no doubt be a weekend to remember.

So to get us all in the celebrating spirit we’re running a quick LW Blog competition, so for your chance to win the oh-so-British prize of Afternoon Tea for two at Harrods just leave a comment below telling us – from our Best of British list, which would be your ideal experience day?

  • The competition will close on Tuesday 29th May 2012 at midnight, so any comments entered after that won’t be included in the draw.
  • All comments will need to be approved, so don’t worry if your comment doesn’t appear straight away!
  • One winner will be drawn at random from all approved entries and will be sent their Afternoon Tea for Two at Harrods voucher as soon as possible.
  • Use the form below to leave your comment and please remember to give us your email address as this is how we’ll get in touch with the winners. 
  • Now just leave a comment telling us from our Best of British list, which would be your ideal experience day?

Terms and conditions. 1. Entry into the draw will be deemed as acceptance of these rules and any separate instructions for entry will form part of the rules. 2. This prize draw is open to any UK resident, aged 18 or over, who posts a comment between the 28th and 29th May 2012 on the Littlewoods Best of British Virgin Experience Days competition blog post at the following URL: http://blog.littlewoods.com/.  3.     My best of British has to be a bus ride around London. Nothing symbolises the Capital better than a traditional, red double decker bus, and on it you can see all the beauty and history the capital has to offer

    Mines would be a sightseeing bus tour and cruise around the fabulous capital city! My little boy goes to Great Ormond Street Hospital alot and we have to travel from Fife in Scotland and all the times we have been down my little boy wants to go on the open top bus but never got around to it x

    I heard someone say spa break? I couldn’t hear as my two kids were nearly deafening me!
    So I’ll have a piece of the spa break!
    The thought of me time (and the hubby of course) is a language i don’t speak but would love to try!
