We posted the other day about the Littlewoods-sponsored Style Factory Fashion Showcase that was taking place in Liverpool, our HQ hometown, last Thursday night. We were really looking forward to seeing the young fashion talent that has been developed by The Style Factory workshops over the past few months, as well as getting all inspired by catwalk shows from local fashion brands, including ourselves of course!
The night was a great success with some very worthy winners and lots of exciting young talent, and we couldn’t wait to share with you some of our favourite phots from the Littlewoods catwalk show, taken by fabulous photographer Kate Swerdlow.
Jumping straight in with a high summer look from our very own Coleen Rooney, this gorgeous ethnic maxi dress is inspired by this summer’s tribal trend, and looks fab dressed up with chunky bangles and these Love Label snake print chunky sandals. Put the hair in a chic up-do like our model and let the dress do all the talking.
Next up is a take on Spring’s huge sherbet shades trend, and our model looked super pretty and feminine in this Love Label prom-style dress. With a pale blue print, sweetheart neckline and full skirt, this is about as delicate as a dress can get so we love how it’s been given some edge with the killer Kingfisher heels from Love Label in a stronger shade of blue.
Talking of strong colours, this third look is all about the bright colour blocking and contrasting shades. The shape of the fiery red zip tunic and the cobalt blue skinny trousers are kept very simple so that nothing detracts from the bold colours. Highlights of this outfit are definitely the blue clutch and the statement stripe wedges.
And what better way to end our post than with a fabulous embellished cut out jumpsuit, and our model looks stunning in this combo of leg lengthening black trousers and heavily embellished top. There’s a sneaky cut out back and with all that detail there really isn’t any need for accessories, just a simple bangle completes the look.
