Pineapple Dance Studios was a TV sensation that made stars of Louie Spence and Andrew Stone, and made the studios a must-visit destination for all budding dancers. While we loved watching the diva behaviour from Louie, it’s fair to say it was the fleeting shots of the dancers in action and seeing the amazing choreographers strutting their stuff that really captured the attention of all dance fanatics, young and old.
So to celebrate all things Pineapple, and in particular the new range of Pineapple kidswear we have online right now, we’re running a Pineapple Dance Studios competition that the kids will just love! So enter now and you could win your little dance star and five of their friends this fabulous prize…
The Prize
- a private dance class at the famous studios
- a selection of Pineapple clothing from Littlewoods.com for the group of 6 (we’ll pick a range of the latest clothes so you don’t have to worry about it!)
- a Pineapple Studios goodie bag for each of the kids, given to them on the day and including Pineapple leg warmers, a Pineapple dance t-shirt and ‘Pineapple Dance Studios: The Fabulous Highlights’ DVD
- All attendees must be aged between 10 and 16, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Rail travel to and from London Euston for all 7 travellers (including one accompanying adult) will be provided

Terms and conditions. 1. Entry in to the draw will be deemed as acceptance of these rules. 2. The prize draw is open to any UK resident, aged 18 or over, who posts a comment between 23rd and 29th January 2012 on the Littlewoods Pineapple Dance Studios Children’s competition blog post at the following URL: http://blog.littlewoods.com/. 3. Employees of Shop Direct Home Shopping Limited or any other company within the Shop Direct Group and anyone else involved in the operation of the draw are excluded from entering. 4. There is one prize of a private dance class at Pineapple Dance Studios in London for a group of up to six children, aged 10 – 16. The group will also receive a selection of Pineapple clothing from Littlewoods, plus a Pineapple Studios goodie bag which will be provided on the day of the class. The group must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, and there is no cash alternative. The prize must be taken within three months of the end of the competition date (29th January 2012) and the dance class will take place on a date and time to be agreed with the winner. 5. The prize includes return train journeys for the group including one accompanying adult to London Euston from the winner’s nearest mainline train station. All other costs incurred, such as food, drinks, accommodation and travel to and from the studios, will be the responsibility of the winner. 6. The draw will be made by random selection from all valid entries no later than the 3rd February and the winner will be notified within 5 days of the draw. Reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner, however, if they cannot be contacted within 10 working days then a new winner may be drawn. 7. Entrants who have a Shop Direct Group home shopping account that is in arrears at the time of the draw, will not be eligible to win. 8. I would love to win this amazing prize for my daughter. It’s her 12th birthday in feb and I can’t afford to throw her a party as I’m just about to sit my first driving test and also trying to save for my first car
I feel terrible that this year won’t be celebrated in the way she deserves but it’s very hard on part time wages to do both, and hopefully in the long run by me having a car she’ll be able to attend all the dance classes she’d like in the future 
She’s an amazing wee performer, she loves to sing and act in front of crowds and given this opportunity I’m sure she would love to dance just as well! Good luck to all entering, I’m sure the winner will have a great time!

my daughter would love this prize. she is a dancing diva lol xx everything she does is dance related ever since she recognised what dancing was she has danced. she walks on her tip toes as she says she is a ballerina. she never asks for a birthday party she always wants a dance party.this would be her dream come true to dance in the studio she couldnt take her eyes off on the tv.

Not only does my Daughter love to dance everywhere and anywhere, she is also mad about the pineapple brand. Her and her friends would love to win this fantastic prize because in my daughters eyes Pinapple is a different word for Dance and everything about dance. This prize would be a fantastic once in a lifetime experience for which I am in no doubt they would all thoroughly enjoy!
I would love my daughter whose 12 to have this chance to go to the pineapple dance studios as up to 2 years ago she was going to 5 dance classes a week, I then fell on hard times and she had to stop.
She is a great dancer and is always making up dance routines and I hope to get her back to dance classes very soon.

This would be a once in a lifetime experience for my two grand-daughters 10 and 13, who have both been dancing from a very young age. They have dance classes twice weekly, compete regularly,

My daughter and her friends would love this, they are always making up dances and singing. My daughter has only just started at secondary school and we are living in a new area so she has had to make all new friends. She has been really lucky and settled in with a group of 6 girls and it would be a really good bonding day for them to all share. Dear Pineapple Dance, if my daughter and her dance friends won this competion you would hear the celebrations from the moon. dancing 6 days a week, sometimes 7, even dancing whilst out shopping. This talented group of teenagers would adore this prize, giving them an amazing lifetime ambition and wonderful memories.

My daughter Lydia would love this prize as she is 13 and had a really bad year. Her older sister did National Diploma dance at college and Lydia really looks up to her and would love to do the same. This prize would give her real taste of what the future may hold for her. xx
My daughter would LOVE this prize! She has danced since the age of 2 and now dances 16 hrs a week! (but only 9 years old!) Even though she is too young to go she has lots and lots of friends who are 10 – 16 at her dance school that she is in classes with and she spends all her time with – so we could go and watch them! I would like to put sarah croasdale forward for the compatition. She has been through a lot this year her mam getting cancer and other medical problems and is now having to live with friends she is a great girl and her life is dancing.

My daughter really did dance before she walked and hasn’t stopped! At almost 14 she still dances rather than walks and even pirouettes down the street never mind around the house. She is a keen student of drama and theatre and she would love this prize, for herself and her friends.

My daughter loves to dance, and although I say so she is actually quite good! She is also my carer as I suffer from fibromyalgia and she often misses out on things that other children take for granted. This would be a lovely opportunity for her to have a treat as a big thank you for all the love and care she gives to me!

My daughter would love to win this as she love’s to dance her first passion is Ballet. Dance is the one thing she can do as it’s inside as she has a condition called Actinic Prurigo so it is difficult for her to do everyday normal things. She goes dancing twice a week which help’s keep her fit.
My daughters would absolutely love to win this prize for themselves and their friends as they both have been technically training to be a dancer since they were 2!
So it would be a great way to see what it’s like to dance professionally along side other people!
After drooling outside of the pineapple studio’s, my two daughters wouldn’t shut up about wanting to go in and dance! They were splitting, kicking, jumping, leaping, piroetting and doing all sorts outside of the doors, hoping someone would notice them… so if they had the oppurtunity to explore the wonderful world of professional dance/choreography, it would be the best day of their lives!

I have 2 daughters (age 11 and 7) who live to dance, they love Pineapple clothes and they adore Louie Spence. We planned a trip to London last year, so they could attend classes at Pineapple Studios just for the experience, but we didn’t manage to get there and they were both so disappointed. It is a dream of theirs to visits Pineapple Studios and have a dance class there. It would be amazing if you could make this dream come true.
