The new arts and crafts range we have online really is huge, and covers everything from card making and craft techniques, to sewing and jewellery making. So whatever your craft, it’s likely we have the equipment!
But this week we have two prizes to give away that aren’t yet available on site, so they’re real excusives!! All you have to do to enter the draw is leave us a comment at the bottom of this post telling us what type of arts and crafts you love doing.
Tell us as much or as little as you like, but we want to know what your craft of choice is and then at the end of the week we’ll pick a winner and a runner up at random from all of the approved comments.
Here’s a little more on the two prizes and some more info you might like to know…

- The first name picked from the draw will win first prize, the second name will win the second prize.
- You can comment as many times as you like, but please remember to give us your email address as this is how we’ll get in touch with the winners.

I like painting abstract work with acrylic paint.
I love doing any arts & crafts: drawing, painting, sewing etc. and am always keen to try new things. Just wish there were spare hours in a day!
I LOVE arts and craft- I do it as part of my job, I work in mental health and its a great way to open conversation, improve concentration, brilliant distraction from problems and the chance to express yourself when maybe you don’t have the words to do it.
Personal favourites? Jewellery making and painting. But always keen to learn new techniques xx
Any type of drawing painting is great
I love any kind of art and crafts, if I have never tried it before then its a challenge to learn a new skill, the good thing is that you never know how good you are or how much fun you can have untill you try it
I enjoy painting and drawing with the kids, making hand painting, helping the kids. very relaxing and seeing the kids enjoy their art is great too
I love water colours, have loved painting with them since i was 15, however im now finding a love for oils as i can add more definition, getting my lady into painting too she is 11 and would love to start with acrylics. perfect timing for her 12th birthday next month.
I love making my own cards, i sell them for funds for my local hospice.I paint, draw, embroider..anything theres a wish for.
My favourite arts and crafts is making things with my 2 children! I don’t have the money to buy myself fancy art sets, so I love making things with them instead! We tried to make a paper mache money box, but the balloons went down after the first coating had dried!
We also made a huge robot out of cardboard boxes, tubes and foil (it’s on my facebook pics somewhere!)
I love to try all sorts of arts and crafts, but end up doing messy painting and sticking with my toddler. It would be lovely to win one of these prizes to be able to have a hobby to myself
My favourite type of arts and crafts is scrapbooking, it’s what I do to relax after a stressful day, and I’ll have something to pass on to my beautiful children when they’re older, scrapbooking is the perfect way to treasure all f my precious memories :0)
Well I love making cards (birthday, mothers day, fathers day etc…) I especially enjoy doing this as I can involve my son in this activity. Making the cards for people just gives it the personal touch and much prefer this to shop bought cards. Would love a set like this, as for now I only use pens & pencils. I think with a set like this I would be able to do so much more. Would also love to be able to try different activities, and develop other skills. Think these prizes are fab! Never usually win anything, but thought I would give this a bash as you have to be in it to win it
Me and my son like to make people birthday cards
my fav arts and crafts used to include pottery and still life where i would head off in a world of my own and capture natures beauty as i found it…nowadays i am more confined to the kitchen table, fingerpainting and the like..with my 2year old daughter but in the not to distant future i can see us taking off with our brushes to discover new beauty spots and creating masterpieces TOGETHER, and these will be the ones on the wall.
I love making patchwork things, just little cushions etc.,nothing too big!
My boyfriend is designing his own comic book, he has done the writing but needs some new paint to get started on the pictures. This would make him very happy!
We love doing paper mache. We make things like masks for halloween, scarecrow faces, cover old tins of beans to make money boxes, all sorts of weird and wonderful creations. A lick of paint on them and they look amazing! So much fun to do and so much wealth of satisfaction in return
My first love is making cards, I really do enjoy seeing peoples faces when they open my cards, my 2nd love is making jewellery…and I have just taken up painting with paint fusion (sheena douglass)
Wonderful, I love crafting.
i love making cards and decorating them with vintage buttons and lace. I also make corsages, cushions and other little items like keyrings and door hangers. i try to use vintage fabrics when possible as it is a great way of recycling and the materials are so much nicer than modern ones x
I have always loved doing arty things i have had a go at marquetry, love making salt dough models, have painted lots and lots of personalised plates with oils and details of the required dates, pictures and events for family and friends,1 christmas i had orders for 38 plates from people i knew i loved painting them because each 1 was different and people still ask me now if i do it but unfortunately i don’t have enough hours in the day.I must admit though i really love sketching with pencils i enjoy doing the various shades with the pencil and you can do so much with a simple pencil and piece of paper.I got an ‘O’Level in Art and really wish i had gone to university to follow it up i always wanted to be a commercial artist but ended up working in a bank but my heart has always been with the Art world!
Using glitter and clay
I love creating little characters for my stories I write and encouraging my hubby to sketch them so paint would be awesome
I can’t get enough of cross stitch but it’s my daughter who is the budding artist!

my son is always making models out of allsorts these paints would be great for him to paint them
I’ve done knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, tatting, charcoal sketching, a bit of doing up furniture, quilting, flower photography, and I even made a fully-jointed teddybear, but the only painting (apart from redecorating) I ever did was watercolour at school – more than 40 years ago. I’m definitely up for giving it a go. Who knows? I could well be the next Grandma Moses!
i like doing many different arts and crafts projects, from buying photoframes and then instead of a photo i put different scrabble words inside them, they’re great for making a gift personal to dabbling in a little painting on cancas using acrylic paint, making my own wall art by wrapping wallpaper round old canves’s, re-covering old chairs and sofas with the fabric from duvet covers, or spare material i have lying round the house to printing and sending my own cards and rsvp cards from photos ive taken or pictures ive drawn, generally i just like finding new and innovative things to do and make, and creating unique things, whether to keep for myself or even give as a present (saves lots of money too)

i will use this to introduce my little nephew to the fantastic world of painting…
I love to draw, I’m not good at it, but I find I can’t be anxious at the same time…excellent therapy!
My passion for art has been reawoken after 2 sad losses this year. It has helped with dealing with emotions and although things have become more settled I intend to continue with this especially as a new house means more walls to hang creations on!

Hi, I love making my friends and family cards for birthdays and xmas, I have made cards for charity before now, which I loved doing. My kids want to be like their granny who paints wonderful pictures.

I create digital scrapbooking kits, never really had an opportunity in adulthood to be arty with traditional mediums.
I like helping my daughter making cards and crafts for her grandparents and dad for occasions such as birthdays and Christmas. She loves it.
I love to scrapbook! I always have my camera with me so have photos galore. Mounting them and adding the story is such a good way to preserve memories and stories for the future and makes me feel very arty too! Have had a go at painting my own background papers – with mixed success! Also enjoy cardmaking and cross stitching. Having said that, will give just about anything a go! Great competition, thank you!
I enjoy making cards and glass painting, My youngest children enjoy cutting and sticking and anything involving the use of bits and bobs and glue . My older children enjoy oil painting and poster paint art .
