Get crafty for Mother’s Day with handmade gifts

We recently posted about the benefits of creating handmade cards for friends and family, and how it would be an especially nice thing to do for Mother’s Day – Mum’s love that kind of thing, don’t they!

Well how about taking it a step further with a handmade gift?  We’re not talking about Blue Peter-style works of art, with toilet roll tubes and PVA glue, we’re talking beautiful jewellery and intricate needlework – something pretty but most importantly, something personal.

Hand crafted bracelets make particularly good presents, as there is so much choice when it comes to materials that it really can be suited to the recipient’s personality and style.  It’s also a gift that can be stored away as a keep sake or worn for everyone to see – there are no rules when it comes to costume jewellery so nothing will look out of place!

Our huge range of jewellery-making equipment and materials will provide you with everything you need to create the perfect bracelet for your Mum, whether it’s a charm bracelet that can be added to for years to come, or an embellished bracelet made with our bright and beautiful bead collections.  From wires to pliers to beading boards, we have everything you need to get you started on your first steps to becoming a jewellery designer!

If jewellery isn’t really your Mum’s thing, there is always the more traditional craft of needle work and cross stitch. Get as creative as you like with these cross stitch kits, and produce a cute Forever Friends figure or a more adventurous ‘scene’! Your creation could be added to the front of a cushion, framed for some wall art or even used as a placemat!!

There will be no stopping you once you get the hang of needle work, so luckily we’re on hand with knitting needles and a huge range of beautiful coloured yarn to keep you busy up to Mother’s Day and beyond!

Even if you still decide to go with a big company, make sure
you review the contact and, before you sign it, meet the
person who will be playing at your wedding, not just the owner
of the company or the sales person. It is the Club
disc jockeys ability to play many types of music and make it sound good that makes them stand out.
DJ wedding processional songs (songs for the immediate family and bridal party).

Baking without eggs takes us back to the days of our grandmother’s mayonnaise
cake during the depression years, rigorously made with out oil or eggs.
